Absolutely a hidden gem in st George's an ace location the views of Shropshire are cracking!!...great staff really lovely and friendly already told loads about the Sunday lunch 💯👍👍👍nail hit on the head guys😋i was well stuffed n so was tbag xx you have got to try the Sunday lunch out its well tasty

Once again could not fault anything,all in the party enjoyed the excellently prepared food ,good portions,arrived at the same time all prepared to perfection.
The atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly.Excellent value,will definitely return.

Sundayy roast superb, fresh, quality ingredients, homemade Yorkshire pudding.
Desserts are homemade & beautiful too!
Staff are friendly, service impeccable & Martin (the chef) fantastic.

A traditional well cooked Sunday lunch at great price with show stopper Yorkshire pudding and chocolate fudge cake. Particularly helpful was the option for smaller or larger servings of the roast.
Parking is available but limited with stepped access to the pub There were three sittings starting approximately 12 , 2 and 4. The bar has a wide selection of drinks again at reasonable prices.
The only slight negative is that it was 40 mins or so until food was served but it was worth the wait

Wow, what an amazing Sunday lunch. Lovely people. Great service.
Everything was cooked to perfection and the price was more than reasonable. Me and the Mrs enjoyed every bit of it and have booked a table for 8 next week

Decent meal and good value for money. Table service initially somewhat slow and me being 62, with my 86 year old mother perhaps not the best people to be referred to as 'guys'.

Yet again Martin excels himself!!! Superb food as always served with a chat and a smile. An an amazing chef. Always eat here when we visit The Place at Oakengates. Only wish it was closer as it’s a 30 mile trip to get here. Regardless of how good the show is the food is worth the visit every time.

Took our son, daughter in law & 2 grandchildren for a meal. The food was outstanding & nothing was too much trouble for the chef - who gladly took special requests from our 9yr old grand son.
